We make custom injection molds to produce plastic parts to serve automotive, medical, consumer, appliance, construction industries and other. Once your plastic injection mold/tools are ready, the injection molding process involves turning plastic pellets into a perfect molded product.
We take your design from raw pellets to finished product by feeding dry plastic pellets, held in a hopper into a heating cylinder which has multiple heating zones that systematically increase the temperature of the material as it moves closer to the gate where it is injected into the tool/mold at a very high temperature.
The molten plastic is then injected into the mold as the clamp keeps the mold closed. As the product cools down and solidifies the product, it is then ejected from the mold which giving you the final intended product.
All molds which are made by C&A Tooling INC. and run at our plant, there is no additional repair or maintenance cost for the entire life of the production run regardless of number of pecs produced.
Some of the Injection Molding Materials Used are:
ASA Nylon (PA)
Glass Filled Nylon
